Day Care Hamilton

Welcome to Peekaboo Day Care Hamilton, our Hamilton Street and LEAP locations. On January 1st, 2010 these locations became part of the Peekaboo family of centres. These centres joined Peekaboo as a part of the sale of Friendship Fun-Care to Peekaboo. My name is Cari Gangaram and I became involved with Peekaboo in 2001 as a preschool teacher.  Over the years I worked as an assistant supervisor and supervisor.  While on maternity leave with my second child my husband and I made the decision to open our own Peekaboo centre since it was the only place we wanted our children to learn and grow in their most precious years. We are very excited to have these centres, children and the fabulous staff joining us at Peekaboo. We hope to grow and learn from this merger of our two cultures. Our emphasis at Peekaboo is to provide the very best quality child care and education for all children. We are extremely proud of our staff and the dedication they devote to the children and the Peekaboo philosophy. The convenient locations of the Hamilton Street and LEAP locations to each other in Waterdown allows parents to drop off children who may be at both sites without any added time restraints. We look forward to having you visit our locations.

At our LEAP location our co-supervisors our Shelley Hamilton and Brenda Casini.  Shelley had been employed at Friendship Fun-Care for over 10 years and started her journey as the nursery school teacher and developing and creating the program that it is today. Shelley worked her way up to co-supervisor of the school age, nursery school and kindergarten programs.
 Shelley graduated from Fanshawe college in 1985 and is a registered ECE who has enjoyed each rewarding opportunity that provides her with professional growth in the field that she is passionate about.

Brenda Casini has been employed at Friendship Fun-Care for over 10 years and begun working in the preschool room and has since has worked with all age groups.  For the past 7 years she has supervised the kindergarten and school age program.  Brenda has her Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Psychology degree from Concordia University in Montreal.  Brenda has two boys who attend our programs here at Peekaboo Waterdown.  Brenda is often found in the classrooms sharing the gift of french to all of our programs through educational gathering times.
